Posted by: Wendy Brannen Thu January 21, 2016 | Yvonne,
Patricia forwarded me Richard’s obituary. Such sad, sad news to get—my heart goes out to you and your kids and grands. The first thing I think of when I think of Richard is that fantastic smile he had! I always thought the world of him and appreciated all he (and you) did to help me through the years. He sure could fix or make anything, couldn’t he??? I honestly was just thinking of him about two weeks ago. The tile in my little apartment bathroom has seen better days, and I was thinking to myself that if Richard Clark were in Washington, DC, he could have some bright new tile laid like a pro in no time! It was nice to read about his military service—he did his part to make this world a better place. You two were so close, so I can only imagine how much you will miss him. I just sent the write-up to Mom. She, too, always like Richard and will be sad to hear. We’ll both be sending prayers to you. Send my regards to Amy and Angela, and tell that Hillary hello. I bet she’s all grown! Hard to imagine. Wendy |
