At 1 Peter 5:7 he invites you to "throw all your anxiety on him." And he promises he "heals the brokenhearted."(Psalms 147:3) There are many more promises that can help to comfort you. "Death will be no more," and "There is going to be a resurrection," are just a few.(Revelation 21:4;Acts 24:15) God wants you to know you are not alone in this distressing time. May these assurances help you to cope with your loss. My condolences."
