Mr. Gordon Hakala, age 66, of Lyons, died Monday, November 25, 2019 at his residence after an extended illness. Gordon was a native of Boylston Mass. and lived in Lyons for the past 15 years. He was a retired Veteran of the United States Army with 21 years of service, and a member of the Congregational Church.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Holly Hakala in 2016.
He is survived by one brother, Matthew (Robyn) Hakala of Tewksbury Mass. Several cousins also survive.
Memorial Services for Mr. Gordon Hakala will be held Monday, December 2, 2019 at 1:00PM at Glennville Veterans Cemetery with Reverend Andy Williams officiating. Interment will follow.
