Mr. Anthony Loren Morris Jr., age 34, of Glenwood, died Thursday, September 26, 2019 after injuries sustained in an automobile accident in Jefferson County. He was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County. Anthony was a commercial electrician and an avid baseball player. He was Baptist by Faith.
Anthony was preceded in death by his father, Anthony “Tony” Loren Morris Sr.; his step-father, Butch Anderson; and his grandmother, Dorothy Morris Hardeman.
Anthony is survived by his mother, Susan Morris Anderson of Glenwood; two brothers, Eric Morris of Glenwood and David Morris of Waynesboro; one sister, Brooke Anderson (Rustin Hancock) of McRae; his maternal grandmother, Virginia Sutton of Mt. Vernon; and one nephew, William Hancock also survives.
Funeral Services for Mr. Anthony Loren Morris Jr. will be held Sunday, September 29, 2019 at 3:00 PM at Stuckey Baptist Church of Glenwood with Reverend Tyler Kirkley officiating. Interment will follow at Westview Cemetery of Soperton. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6:00PM – 8:00PM.
The family will assemble at the residence of Faithe Parker in Stuckey Community.

I worked with Anthony in north Carolina at fort brag and I worked at hamlin air I talked to him a lot great guy I'm so sorry for this happening my prayers go to family and friends
