Ms. Patricia Ann “Patty” Dryden, age 72, of Gresham Oregon died Wednesday November 7, 2018 in Gresham. Patty was a native of Ohio, moving to Florida at an early age. She attended Beauty School in Florida and got married at age 19 and had three sons, Gregg, Josh and Jeremy. Josh preceded her in death in 1994. The story is that Patty wanted to move to Oregon after watching a Bigfoot movie that was filmed in Oregon. She was teased that she pronounced the state as OR-E-GONE, but she loved Oregon very much. After divorcing she remarried and had a daughter, Rebekah. Patty overcame many obstacles in life, especially the loss of her son, Joshie; but she overcame and was very successful later in life. She worked long and hard hours to save money to start her own business. Patty was a hair stylist for children and saved enough money to open her first salon, and her success took off from there. She made a huge impact on her community for her expression, individuality and most importantly, her kindness. She was chatty, approachable and really wanted to help anyone in need. Patty had a rescuers heart as she loved and saved many animals. She absolutely loved being surrounded by her fur babies. Patty was Christian by Faith.
Patty is survived by three children, Gregg Frost , Jeremy Frost and Rebekah Rosales; her brother, Gary Dryden; and three sisters, Deborah Dryden, Diane Palmer and Tammy Lounsberry.
