Mr. Alfonso Diaz Martinez Jr., age 59, of Ocilla died Monday July 10, 2017, at St. Vincent Hospital in Jacksonville FL after a brief illness. Mr. Martinez was a native of Georgia, who lived in Glenwood for many years and in Ocilla for the past 8 years. Mr. Martinez was a farmer and Catholic by Faith.
Mr. Martinez is preceded in death by his father, Alfonso Martinez Sr.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Suzi Martinez; his daughter, Lindsey Martinez, both of Ocilla; his mother, Adela Martinez of Glenwood; and his sisters, Guadalupe Beltran, Julia M. Medina, Janie Martinez, and Terrisa Martinez, all of Glenwood, Sarita Ramirez of Immokalee Fl, and Annita Martinez of Baxley.
Funeral services for Mr. Alfonso Diaz Martinez Jr. will be held Saturday July 15, 2017 at 10:00 AM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Father Raphael Estrada and Father Ben Dallas officiating. Interment will follow at the family cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday July 14, 2017 beginning at 3:00 PM at the funeral home.
