Mr. Clifton Price Jr., age 72, of Augusta died Tuesday morning, June 28, 2016, at his residence after a brief illness.
Mr. Price was a native of Toombs County, living most of his life in Augusta. He was a retired salesman and Baptist by faith.
Mr. Price is survived by his wife, Doris Price of Augusta; two sons, Warren Mathew Price (Shelly) of Grovetown, and Gerald Price (Paula) of Cedar Crossing; two brothers, David Price of Twin City and Phillip Price of Martinez; one sister, Patsy Surratt of Hephzibah; and four grandchildren, Emilie, Hannah, Mathew, and Brayden.
Funeral Services for Mr. Clifton Price Jr. will be held Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Steven Toole and Reverend Chris Brown officiating. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday afternoon from 1:30 until the time of the service.

My heart is broken at the loss of my cousin Clifton. He will live on in my memories from childhood and I cherish the joy of reminiscing with him later in life. My thoughts and prayers are with his beloved wife Doris, his children, brothers David and Philip, sister Patsy, and all who hold him dear. Please accept my deepest condolences.

I have a heavy heart today over the death of my cousin Clifton. We played together as children and stayed in contact in our later years. I will always remember his kindness to my father as he battled dementia, staying in touch until his death. I pray that his wife Doris, sons Warren and Gerald, brothers David and Phillip, and sister Patsy, along with his grandchildren feel God's arms around them as they grieve this tremendous loss. I will miss our calls but will remember our last conversation that was filled with laughter.
