Mrs. Christine Carroll of McNatt Falls passed away early Tuesday morning, September 08, 2015 at her residence after a brief illness. She was a native of Bacon County, living in McNatt Falls the past 13 years. She was a retired seamstress and Baptist by faith.
Mrs. Carroll was preceded in death by her parents, A.J. and Creasie Greer, and two sisters, Gelene Watson and Geraldine Thomas.
Mrs. Carroll is survived by her husband, Freddie Carroll of McNatt Falls; three sons, Michael Tanner, Jamie Bohannon, and Danny Carroll, all of Hazlehurst; four daughters, Tonya Roberson of Livingston, LA, Jenny Tanner of Hazlehurst, and Amy Westmoreland of Nahunta, and Dawn Briefman of Seattle, WA; two brothers, Donald Greer of Ellabell, and Ronald Greer of Hazlehurst; grandchildren Matthew Carter, Brittany McCollough, James Bohannon, Kellie and Draven Shuman, Tristen, Nick, and Hope Dykes, Raven and Page Roberson, Alicia Westmoreland, Cherity Westmoreland, B.J. Angular, Faith Withers, Rena and Kristin Smith; great-grandchildren Kiley, Kenzie, Traven, Jaiden, and Cody.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Christine Carroll will be held Thursday, September 10, 2015 at 11:00 AM at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Reverend Reece Mincey officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel Wednesday evening from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.
