Mrs. Carmela C. Avila Flores, age 46, of Lyons, died Thursday evening, August 20, 2015, at Medical Center of Central Georgia in Macon of injuries received in an automobile accident on August 6..
Carmela was a native of Mexico and lived in Lyons the past 16 years. She was a cook for migrant workers and Baptist by faith.
Carmela is survived by her husband, Aurcliano Gerardo Perez Santiago of Lyons; two daughters, Ruth Perez and Abigail Perez, both of Lyons; one brother, Adan A. Avila Flores of Alabama; and four sisters, Alicia C. Avila Flores of Alabama, Delfina B. Avila Flores of Lyons, Soleda Avila Flores of Alabama, and Teresa P. Avila Flores of Lyons.
Funeral services for Mrs. Flores will be held Sunday, August 23, at 3:00 pm at Liberty Baptist Church in Lyons with Reverend Michael Plowman officiating. Interment will follow at Lyons City Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel
Saturday morning beginning at 11:00 am.

Carmela era nativo de Mexico y vivio en Lyon los ultimo 16 anos. Ella era una cocinera para los trabajadores migrantes y Bautista por la fe.
Carmela es sobre vivida por su esposo, Aurcliano Gerado Perez Santiago de Lyon, dos hijas, Ruth Perez y Abigail Perez, ambos de Lyon; un hermano, Adan A. Avila Flores de Alabama; y su hermana cuatro, Alicia C. Avila Flores de Alabama; Soleda Flores de Alabama, Delfina B. Flores de Lyon, y Teresa P. Avila Flores de Lyon.
Servicios funerarios de la Sra. Flores se llevar a cabo el domingo, 23 de Agosto, a las 15:00 en la iglesia de Bautista de la Libertad en Lyon con el Reverendo Michael Plowman oficiando. Seguira el entierro en el cementerio de la cuidad de Lyon. La familia va a recibir a amigos en principeo de Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia capilla sábado por la mañana a 11:00.
