Mrs. Ruby Dixon, age 90, of Glenwood, died July 28, 2015 after a brief illness.
Ruby was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County, a homemaker, and a member of Hope Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Herman Dixon, in 1974, and two brothers, Charles Dixon, Jr., of Glenwood and E.W. Dixon, Sr., of Vidalia.
Mrs. Dixon is survived by her son Gene Dixon of Glenwood; two daughters Francine Dixon of Glenwood and Marla Lowe of Decatur; one sister Ruth Hensley of Winder; four grandchildren Dennis, Amy, Tucker, and Will; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Mrs. Dixon will be held Thursday, July 30th, at 11:00 am at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Dewitt Corbin officiating. Interment will follow at Hope Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm.

So sorry to hear about Aunt Ruby. She was a very special lady. I will always remember the days and nights I spent with ya'll. Those were the good days! You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
