Mr. Rosendo Gasca, age 63, of Lyons died Tuesday, February 24, 2015 at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after an extended illness.
Mr. Gasca was a native of Mexico and had lived in Lyons since 1999. He was a retired farmer and attended Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Rosendo is survived by his wife, Estela Gasca of Lyons; three sons, Artemio Gasca and wife Michaela of Lyons, Rosendo H. Gasca and wife Mary Jane Hernandez of Hillsborough County FL, and Andres Gasca-Quintino and wife Sarail of Homestead FL; one daughter, Veronica Gasca and husband Gonzalo Burgos of Homestead FL; seven brothers, two sisters, and nine grandchildren.
The Funeral Mass for Mr. Rosendo Gasca will be held Saturday, February 28, 2015, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ben Dallas officiating. The family will receive friends at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel on Friday from 11:00 AM until 8:00 PM with a Rosary service being held at 6:00 PM.
