Mr. Homer Fitch, age 46, of Vidalia died early Wednesday morning November 26, 2014 at his residence after a sudden illness.
He was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County. He was a roofer by trade.
Mr. Fitch is preceded in death by his mother Peggy Hackle.
Homer is survived by his wife, Cheryl Fitch of Vidalia; three sons, Robert Landon of Vidalia, Joseph Homer Leroy Fitch of Metter, and Christopher Anthony Gino Harrison of Lyons; five daughters, Tabitha Nicole Murray of Reidsville, Angie Landon of Nashville, Tennessee, Tabitha Landon of Clarksville, Tennessee, Maranda Daniela Fitch of Vidalia, and Joanna Landon Davis of Vidalia; father, Leroy Fitch of Vidalia; three brothers, Lloyd Hackle of Baxley, David DeLoach of Claxton, and Dell Stallings of Lyons; two sisters, Patricia Haynes of Vidalia and Angela Castro of Uvalda; nine grandchildren, Adrian, Hunter, Aaliyah, Baylei, Jeremy, London, Jarrett, Ada, and Eli.
Memorial services for Mr. Homer Fitch will be held Saturday, November 29, 2014 at 4:30 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Frank Watson officiating. Interment will be private.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of the funeral arrangements.
