Mrs. Tammy Lumley, age 44, of Uvalda, died early Tuesday morning November 25, 2014 at her residence after a sudden illness.
She was a native of Wheeler County and had resided in Uvalda for the past two years. She was a member of the Glenwood Church of God, and was also a homemaker.
Tammy is survived by her husband Michael Lumley of Uvalda; her son Cody Lumley and fiancé Rebecca of Uvalda; her daughter Brooke Fernandez and husband Gregory of Baytown, Texas; her mother Arlene Hulett of Glenwood; her sister Tina Simpson of Glenwood; and her niece Danielle Smith and nephew Evan Smith both of Glenwood.
Funeral services for Mrs. Tammy Lumley will be held Saturday November 29, 2014, at 1:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend Stevie Hardeman and Reverend Ronnie Saxon officiating. Interment will follow in the Edge Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 PM.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Glenwood is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

I am so sorry for your loss. My thoughts and prayers are with Tammy's family and friends. Losing someone you love is hard no matter what but losing someone this young always makes it harder. May God give you the strength to get thru this difficult time and May God comfort you as well.
