Anthony Wayne “Tony” Fennell departed this life on October 9, 2014, at his home in Mount Vernon, GA. He was born September 16, 1952, in Vidalia, GA., the son of the late Johnnie Francis Fennell and Kathleen “Tat” Fennell.
Survivors are his son Timothy Hondo Fennell and wife Laura Barnes Fennell, sister Debra Fennell, mother Kathleen Fennell, and two grandsons Johnathon Dyllan Fennell and Anthony Gavin Fennell all of Mount Vernon, GA. Many aunts and cousins also survive.
He spent a majority of his life in road construction, and was employed for 42 years at Holland/Reeves Construction. He was a member of Mount Vernon United Methodist Church.
Funeral Services for Mr. Anthony Wayne “Tony” Fennell will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 3:00 PM at Stewart- Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Arnold Raj officiating. Interment will follow in Mount Vernon Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 PM.
Stewart- Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

My condolences to your family. I remember a lot of good laughs with Tony when I managed the Jiffy Gem in Mt. Vernon and he would come by and visit. At that time in my life he was a good friend.
