Theresa Tomlinson, age 95, of 3169 Hwy 15 Vidalia died Tuesday afternoon October 7, 2014 at The Oaks of Bethany Nursing Home of Vidalia after an extended illness.
Theresa was a native of Wheeler County, resided in Montgomery County for many years; moving to Vidalia in 1948. She was a homemaker and a member of Charlotte United Methodist Church.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow W. Tomlinson Sr. in 1985; seven brothers and three sisters.
Mrs. Tomlinson is survived by her son, Woody Tomlinson and wife Mildred of Vidalia; her daughter, Annette Tomlinson of Vidalia; two grandsons, Tony and Greg Tomlinson; one great-granddaughter, Crystal Tomlinson; and one great-grandson, Matthew Young. Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mrs. Theresa Tomlinson will be held Saturday, October 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Blake Westbrook officiating. Interment will follow in Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Friday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
