Mrs. Millie Faye Davis, age 74, of Vidalia, died Thursday June 26, 2014 at her residence after a sudden illness.
She was a native of Treutlen County and lived in Vidalia for the past 60 years. She was retired from Oxford of Vidalia. She was Baptist by faith.
Ms. Davis is preceded in death by her husband, Horace Grady Davis in 2004.
She is survived by her son; Harold Davis, of Vidalia; two daughters Sheila Waters, of New Ellenton, South Carolina, Connie Lanier, of Graceville Florida; her sister Mary Beasley, of Vidalia; eight grandchildren; and twelve great-grandchildren.
Memorial services for Mrs. Millie Faye Davis will be held Sunday, June 29, 2014 at 3:00 PM at the Stewart Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend H.G. Ridgdill officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 2:00 PM until the hour of service.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of the funeral arrangements.

Sheila, Harold, Connie, and family.
I can not possibly express the sorrow I feel with the loss of your Mom. Millie was a Mom, Grandmother, Sister, and Aunt to you, but to me she was just as much, if not more. I am so sorry I can not be there with you in this time of sorrow, but please believe I will be sitting beside each of you in spirit, holding your hands, giving you a comforting hug, and I will be receiving one back from each of you. My love and condolences to each of you and my prayers are for her loving family.
