Susan J. “Carroll” Kingsley, age 58, of Ludowici died Friday, January 3, 2014 at St. Joseph Hospital of Savannah after an extended illness.
Mrs. Kingsley was a native of Toombs County and resided in Ludowici for the past 14 years. She was the CEO of Gum Branch Volunteer Fire Department which is part of Liberty County Fire Services Station 15. She is Church of God by faith.
Mrs. Kingsley is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Tiny Carroll.
She is survived by her husband, Owen D. Kingsley of Ludowici; two sons, Christopher Dasher of Gainesville, FL and Paul Carroll and wife Candy of East Dublin; two daughters, Dixie Kimsey of Ludowici and April Freeman of Ludowici; one brother, Raymond Carroll and wife Cindy of Cedar Crossing; and one grandchild, Samantha Freeman of Ludowici.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Susan L. “Carroll” Kingsley will be held Monday, January 6, 2015 at 3:00pm at Cedar Crossing Baptist Church with Reverend Reece Mincey officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Monday from 1pm until the hour of the service.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
