James L. Parrish, age 72 of 715 Scott Drive, Vidalia, died early Wednesday morning, November 28, 2012 at Community Hospice in Vidalia after a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Parrish was the Co-Owner of J.L. Landscaping in Vidalia and he was Pentecostal by faith.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Bennie Anthony Parrish and his sister, Nadine Smith.
Mr. Parrish is survived by his wife, Linda Parrish of Vidalia; three sons, Wayne Parrish of Jacksonville FL, James Randall Parrish of Glenville and Billy Ferrell of McDonough; two daughters, Linda Brannen of Midway and Kimberly Parrish Watson of Warner Robins; three brothers, J.D. Parrish of Lyons, Robert Lee Parrish and wife Betty of Lyons and Clarence E. Parrish and wife Peggy of Vidalia; four sisters in law, Janice Parrish of Vidalia, Lori Snyder of Brunswick, Josephine Upwright of Statesboro and Teresa Byrd of Lyons and one brother in law, Henry Kight of Vidalia. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren also survive.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia is in charge of funeral arrangements.
