Mrs. Jeanette Mosley Collins, age 89, of Lyons, died early Thursday morning, May 7, 2020 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. Jeanette was a native of Uvalda and lived in Savannah for some 30 years before returning to Lyons in 1987. She was a retired lab technician and was a founding member of Southside Baptist Church in Savannah. Mrs. Jeanette is presently a member of East Gordon Street Baptist Church of Lyons.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lawson Collins; one son, Jimmy L. Collins; her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
She is survived by one son, Jerry D. Collins (Hope) of Lyons; two brothers, Buddy Mosley of Uvalda and Glenn Mosley of Cedar Crossing; two sisters, Maxine Williams and Grace Manning, both of Uvalda; and one daughter-in-law, Mary Lou Collins of Savannah. Four grandchildren, Josh, Jeanette, Amy, and Annie; and seven great-grandchildren also survive.
Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Jeanette Mosley Collins will be held Saturday, May 9, 2020 at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. Interment will follow.
