Mrs. Hazel Underwood Rivers, age 103, of Dublin died peacefully Monday, December 9, 2019 at her residence. Hazel was a retired first grade schoolteacher with the Fulton County School System. Hazel resided in Dublin for several years after retirement.  Hazel was Baptist by Faith.

 Hazel is preceded in death by her loving husband Robert E. Rivers Jr. in 2003, three sisters and two brothers.

Hazel is survived by, one daughter Jean Clayton of Tuscumbia AL, two sons, Robert E. Rivers III of Tallahassee FL, William R. Rivers, of Tarrytown GA, two grandchildren Brian Hall and Patrick Andrew Rivers, and 2 great-grandchildren, Jake and Olive Jean.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mrs. Hazel Underwood Rivers will be December 11, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Glenwood City Cemetery.  Rev George Grimes will be officiating.

In Lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to Serenity Hospice of Dublin GA.
