Mr. Bobby Kirkland, age 79, of Vidalia, died Tuesday night at Memorial Health in Savannah, Georgia after an extended illness.

Bobby was a lifelong resident of Toombs County, and a retired farmer and wildlife ranger. Bobby was a member of First Baptist Church.

Bobby is preceded in death by his parents Robert and Margaret Kirkland, and a sister LaRose Franklin.

Bobby is survived by his wife, Becky Kirkland of Vidalia, one son, Rodney (Kim) Kirkland of Spring Texas, one daughter, Kathy (Greg) Cartrette of Vidalia and four precious grandchildren, Allisa, Alexis, Emma, and Caroline.

Funeral services for Mr. Bobby Kirkland will be conducted at 4:30 on Saturday July 27, 2019 at Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service, Vidalia Chapel with Rev Gary Robinson officiating.  The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 3:30 for visitation.

Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery
