Mrs. Phyllis Foskey Rollins, age 62, of Uvalda died early Sunday morning August 12, 2018 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.  

Mrs. Rollins was a native and lifelong resident of Uvalda.  She retired from United States Postal Service as a rural mail carrier and was a member of Cedar Crossing Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Jewell Foskey; and her infant brother, Phil Foskey.

Phyllis is survived by her husband, Bill Rollins of Uvalda; her son, Kyle Rollins and his wife Rena of Uvalda; her sister, Patsy McGowan of Uvalda; three grandchildren, Cameron, Kylan and Conner; her cousin like sister Bonnie Williamson and her husband Larry of Uvalda; and her special nephew Thad Williamson of Uvalda  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral services for Mrs. Phyllis Foskey Rollins will be held Tuesday, August 14, 2018, at 3 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Pastor Reece Mincey and Pastor Earl Wiggins officiating.  Interment will follow at Conner Cemetery in Uvalda. The family will receive friends for visitation at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel on Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 PM.
