Mrs. Juanita Bustos, age 90, of Vidalia died Sunday afternoon June 17, 2018 in Douglas at her daughter’s residence after a brief illness. Juanita was a native of Mexico living in Vidalia the past 40 years. She was a homemaker and Catholic by Faith.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Dagoberto Bustos; one daughter, Sandra; and one son, Dagoberto Jr.
She is survived by her four sons; Israel Bustos, and David Bustos, both of Laredo TX, Ismael Bustos of San Antonio TX, and Rodolfo Bustos of Austin TX; six daughters, Maria E Villegas of Vidalia, Juana Castro of Douglas, Enedelia Moralez of Rio Bravo TX, Letisia Bustos of NY, Elva Hernandez of San Antonio TX, and Maria D. Santos Lobato of NC; one brother, Revlo Arredondo of Mexico; and one sister, Eva Gutierrez of Mexico. Over 100 grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Mass for Mrs. Juanita Bustos will be held Friday, June 22, 2018 at 9:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ben Dallas officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 5:00 – 8:00 PM with a Rosary scheduled at 7:00 PM.
