Mr. CH Cox, age 78, of Lyons died early Wednesday morning, October 11, 2017 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. CH was native of Indiana, living in Lyons since 1984. He was a former owner/operator of a taxi service in Lyons, a lifelong recycler, and was a former Reverend who loved sharing the gospel with people.
Mr. Cox is survived by his wife of 53 years, Ruby Cox of Lyons; his son, Harmon Dewayne Cox of Orlando FL; his two daughters, Annette Christine Cox of Cedar Crossing and Victoria Pearl McCullough of Cobbtown. Eight grandchildren and many great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. CH Cox will be held Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 11:00 AM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel with Reverend Robbie Rosier officiating. Interment will follow at Lyons City Cemetery. Visitation for Mr. CH Cox will be held at the funeral home on Friday evening from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
