Mrs. Gloria Ann Kolar, age 61, of Soperton, died at early Sunday morning July 30, 2017 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness. Gloria was a native of Macon, living in Soperton for the past 21 years. She was a teacher employed by Telemon for the last 7 years and was a member of Abundant Life Apostolic Church of Vidalia for the past 28 years where she held many positions; her favorite being in the church kitchen. She was a loving wife, mother, and nanny.
Mrs. Gloria is survived by her Husband, Clarence Lee Kolar Sr. of Soperton;her mother, Doshia Smith of Soperton; two sons, Clarence (Brenda) Lee Kolar Jr. and Robert (Paula) Dennis Kolar of Vidalia; four daughters, Angel Ann Rigby (Chris) of Rockledge, Ladonna Earnestine Scott (Shane) of Soperton, Amy Amanda Adams (Johnny) of Higgston, and Emily Victoria Mcfall (Ed) of Spencer Indiana; one brother, Robert Amerson of Collins; and two sisters, Bobbette Motts of Texas and Ladonna Meeks of Soperton. 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Gloria Ann Kolar will be held Tuesday August 1, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Abundant Life Apostolic Church of Vidalia with Pastor John Young Jr. and Bishop John Young Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Red Bluff Baptist Church Cemetery in Soperton. The family will receive friends Monday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
