Francisco Rangel Ybarra, age 77, of Lyons died November 6, 2016 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness. He was a native of Seguin, Texas. He became a resident of Toombs County in 1981. He was a farmworker and worked at Claxton Poultry for ten years. He enjoyed being around his loved ones and was Catholic by faith.
Mr. Ybarra is survived by his wife of 55 years, Elvira Flores Ybarra. He is survived by nine children: Irma Ybarra Valdez and her husband Rabul Valdez; Frances Y. Gutierrez and her husband Ricardo Gutierrez; Benito Ybarra; Chris Ybarra; Pauline Ybarra; Cristina Y. Hernandez and husband Ernesto Hernandez; Elvira Y. Quintero and husband Selestino Quintero; Rosemary Ybarra-Quintero and husband Efrain Quintero; and Francisco F. Ybarra. He is also survived by 39 grandchildren and 56 great-grandchildren, as well as a sister, Maria Y Vasquez of Seguin, Texas. Several other relatives and friends also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. Francisco Rangel Ybarra will be held on Thursday, November 10, 2016, at 10:30 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Family will receive friends on Wednesday, November 9, beginning at noon with a rosary service at 6:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel.
