Mrs. Mamie Lee Turner, age 80, of Vidalia died Tuesday evening, June 21, 2016, at Memorial Health of Savannah after a brief illness.
Mrs. Turner was a native and lifelong resident of Vidalia. She was a caretaker of the elderly and a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints.
Mrs. Turner was preceded in death by her husband, Willie Doc Turner, in 1998.
Mrs. Turner is survived by her two sons, Ronnie Turner and Tracy Turner, both of Vidalia; one daughter, Linda Fowler of Vidalia; five grandchildren, Samantha, Lisa, Allen, Cheyanne, and Gabby; two great-grandchildren, Claire and Rose; and one special niece, JoAnn Taylor of Vidalia.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Mamie Lee Turner will be held Friday, June 24, 2016 at 3:00 PM at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints with Bishop Bradley Young presiding. Interment will follow at Pinecrest Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday at the church from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM.
