Ms. Dean Flett, age 84, of New Branch Community died Thursday, March 24, 2016 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after an extended illness.

Ms. Flett was a native of Toombs County. Living most of her life in Jacksonville, Florida, she moved back to New Branch Community in 1999. She was a retired licensed cosmetologist with JC Penny and attended Mt. Moriah United Methodist Church.

Ms. Flett is preceded in death by her son, Bobby Best (2009), and two brothers, Edward Collins and Charles Collins.

She is survived by one son, Vincent, of New Branch Community, and one grandchild, Jessica Downie of New Branch Community. Several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends also survive.

Graveside services for Ms. Dean Flett will be Monday, March 28, 2016, at 11:00 AM at Lyons City Cemetery with Reverend Michael Kennedy officiating. The family will receive friends at Stewart Rosier Funeral Service Lyons Chapel on Monday morning from 10:00 until 10:45.
