Reverend Martha Jean Miller, age 64, of Vidalia died Wednesday afternoon, June 24, 2015 at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after an extended illness.

Mrs. Miller was a native of Arkansas and had resided in Vidalia since 1988.  She was a retired school teacher and minister in the Independent Church.

She is preceded in death by her son, James Edward Miller and her granddaughter, Dalana Miller.

Martha is survived by her son, Frank Miller of Vidalia; her daughter, Angela Maria Gatlin of Dalton; her brother, David Lee Wright of Ocoee FL; her sister, Shelby Jean Wright of Vidalia and six grandchildren.

Funeral arrangements will be finalized on Wednesday morning and be announced.
