Jimmie Sue Pierce Kight, a native of Soperton, GA, and the daughter of Kyle and Ella Mae Pierce, passed away on October 7th, 2014, at East Georgia Regional Medical Hospital in Statesboro, GA.

She had recently been a resident of Eagle Health and Rehab Facility in Statesboro.

She attended the Soperton schools, and had been a legal secretary for the Darby Firm. She subsequently lived in the Metro Atlanta Area for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her three children, Jimmy, Mike, and Brenda Nasworthy, and by three brothers and four sisters.

She is survived by a brother and sister and their spouses: Ruby and J.C. Darley of Soperton, Ronald and Mary Ann Pierce of Decatur; also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
