Mr. Brad Dorough, age 32, of Vidalia died Wednesday October 8, 2014, at his residence after a sudden illness.
Brad was a native of Vidalia where he lived the majority of his life; he recently moved to Atlanta. He was a meat cutter, where he was employed at Publix in Atlanta. He was a former student at Vidalia High School where he was a member of the band, and participated in wrestling during his 8th grade year where he won 2nd place in the state tournament for his division. He was also a former Altar Server at Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was Catholic by faith.
Brad was a lover of peace and never met a stranger. His kind, gentle spirit touched many lives and was a light in this dark world. His memory will live on in our hearts forever.
He is preceded in death by his Grammy Linda Cuellar, his Papa Hector Cuellar, and his Mema Elizabeth Dorough.
Brad is survived by his mother YaVonne Quigley and husband Tim of Vidalia, father John Dorough of Atlanta, sister Stephani Fowler and husband Tim of Savannah, Niece Brianna Rose Fowler of Savannah, Aunt Leah Axdorff and husband Kenny of Rockford, Michigan, Uncle Jearl Cuellar of Springfield, and Aunt Lyn Statham of Carrollton. Many cousins and other relatives also survive.
Funeral services for Mr. Brad Dorough will be held Saturday October 11, 2014, at 11:00 AM at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Ben Dallas officiating. Interment will follow in Antioch Baptist Church Cemetery near Daisy, GA. The family will receive friends and family at the funeral home Friday evening from 6-8 PM.
