Mr. Robert “Red” Wheeler, age 73, of 578 Hilton Memory Road, Vidalia
(Kibbee Community) died Friday evening September 5, 2014 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness.

Mr. Wheeler was a native of Kibbee, had resided in Atlanta for 30 plus years and returned to Kibbee in 2000.  He worked for many years as an Audio and Electronics engineer.

Red is survived by his wife, Barbara Wheeler of Kibbee; two sons, David Wheeler of Kibbee and Joseph Edwards in Jacksonville FL; two daughters, Tina Wheeler Catton of Powder Springs and Faith Wheeler Gordy of Swainsboro; and eight grandchildren.

There will be no services.

Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel will be in charge of the funeral arrangements.
