Mr. Jessie Westberry, age 76, of Vidalia, died late Thursday night, March 13, 2014, at Meadows Regional Medical Center, of Vidalia after an extended illness.

Jessie was a native of McRae, GA, and lived most of his life in Toombs County. He was a retired truck driver. He attended First Assembly of God Church, of Vidalia, GA.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clifton and Pearlie Mae Westberry, and his brother, Willie Westberry.

Mr. Westberry is survived by his wife, Ethyleen Westberry, of Vidalia; three daughters, Sharon Lindsay and her husband Glenn, of Lyons, Karen Wilkes-Pedatella and her husband Gino, of Vidalia, and Marian Strom, of Vidalia; one sister, Bertie Hannah, of Alexandria, LA.; six grandchildren Misty Collins, Anthony Wilkes and his wife Meghan, Kayla Wilkes, Chandler Strom, Zack Strom, and Kelsey Pedatella; five great-grandchildren Challice Powell, Hannah Powell, Madison Kingery, Braden Wilkes, and LeaLyn Wilkes.

Funeral Services for Mr. Jessie Westberry will be held Sunday March 16, 2014 at 2:00 PM at the Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend David Knight and Reverend Reece Mincey officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Saturday evening from 6-8. The family will assemble at the residence of a daughter, Karen Wilkes-Pedatella, at 708 East Oxley Blvd Vidalia, GA.
