Eloise Martin, age 71, of Reidsville died Saturday, December 28, 2013 at her residence after a sudden illness.

She was a native of Toombs County and had lived in Reidsville for the past five years.  She was a retired seamstress and Wiccan by faith.

Eloise was preceded in death by her husband, Benny Martin in 2008.

She is survived by her son, Curtis Martin of Atlanta; two brothers, Clyde Chavis of Vidalia and James Calvin Chavis of Vidalia; and three sisters, Sandra Chavis of Reidsville, Regina Fail of Collins and Daphene Mitkus of Atlanta.

Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service of Vidalia was in charge of funeral arrangements.
