Mrs. Dorothy F. Morris, age 86, of Uvalda died late Saturday afternoon, September 28, 2013 at Serenity Hospice of Dublin after an extended illness.

Mrs. Morris was a native of Toombs County, lived many years in Miami, and returned to Uvalda in 1993.  She was a teacher and a member of Uvalda Baptist Church.

Mrs. Morris is preceded in death by her husband, Edward E. Morris in 2004.

Mrs. Morris is survived by three sons, Richard D. Morris of Uvalda, Edward Morris of Las Vegas, Nevada and Randall Morris of Jacksonville FL.; two brothers, Russell Findley of Macon and Ernest Findley of Leesburg, Ga.  Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Dorothy F. Morris will be held Tuesday, October 1, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend Adrian Bell officiating.  Interment will follow at Sharpe Cemetery.  The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday evening from
6-8PM.
