Reverend J.C. Boatright, age 85 of Lyons died at Camellia Health and Rehab after an extended illness.  

Reverend Boatright was a native of Ocala Florida and lived most of his life in Milledgeville.  He pastored many churches during his ministry with his last pastorate being at Riverside Baptist Church in Milledgeville.

He is survived by two sons, Kenneth Scott of Swainsboro and James Boatright of Dublin; three daughtes, Janice Rebecca Marton of Allentown, Carol Boatright of Milledgeville and Veronica Avila of Lyons.  Several grandchildren and great-children also survive.

Visitation and services for Reverend J.C. Boatright will be held Monday, February 25, 2013 from 3PM until 5 PM at Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons with Reverend BL Horne officiating.

Jones-Stewart Funeral Home of Lyons is in charge of funeral arrangements
