Mr. Randall J. McGahee, age 40, of Lyons died Friday evening, January 4, 2013 at Lower Oconee Health Care in Glenwood after an extended illness.

Mr. McGahee was a native and lifelong resident of Toombs County.  He was a member of the Vidalia Baptist Temple.

He is preceded in death by his father, Randall J. McGahee Jr. in 2006.
Randall is survived by his mother, Betty sue McGahee of Lyons; four sisters, Elizabeth Ann Mendoza and husband Ismael of Vidalia, Toni McGahee Lewis and husband Danny of Baxley, Deborah Sue McGahee and husband Ivan of Vidalia and Angelic McGahee of Baxley.  Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mr. Randall J. McGahee will be conducted Tuesday, January 8, 2013 at 2PM from the Chapel of Jones-Stewart Funeral Home in Lyons with Reverend Mary Ennis and Reverend Dennis Bryant officiating.  Interment will follow at Edmonds Chapel Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home the day of the funeral service beginning at 9:00AM until service time.  The family will assemble at the residence of the mother, 124-1 Aiken Street in Lyons.
