Mr. William F. Toole, age 76 of 114 Benny Rd, Lyons, died early Wednesday morning October 24, 2012 at Community Hospice in Vidalia after a brief illness.

Mr. Toole was a native and lifelong resident of Lyons.  He was retired from the Georgia Department of Transportation and was a Mason.  He was Baptist by faith.         

Mr. Toole is preceded in death by his parents Fred and Mildred Toole and his sister Carolyn Meeks.  Mr. Toole is survived by:  two sons, Frederick Toole of Athens and Lucky Patrick of Lyons;  one daughter, Jan Durrence of Reidsville; a special friend, Daisy Beasley of Oak Park; three brothers, Harvey Toole, Creighton Toole and Wilton Toole all of Lyons and two sisters, Eloise Toole of FL and Joyce Gardner of Sardis.  Two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren also survive.

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. William F. Toole will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 beginning at 11:00 AM at the Mt. Moriah Methodist Church Cemetery with Reverend Bill Vansant officiating.  The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home from 6 PM until 8 PM Thursday evening October 25, 2012.
