Lyons

Mr. Dewey Blaxton, age 77, of 102 Sand Trap Way, Warner Robins, passed away Tuesday morning September 11, 2012 at  Fort Valley Health Care in Fort Valley after an extended illness.        

Mr. Blaxton was a native of Toombs County and lived most of his life in Lyons.  He is a Veteran of the Air Force and is a former member of Lyons Presbyterian Church.

Mr. Blaxton is survived by one brother, Doyal Blaxton of Macon.  Survivors also include several nieces and nephews.

A graveside memorial service will be held Tuesday September 18, 2012 at the Collins Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery in Lyons.  In lieu of flowers the family request that a donation be made to charity on behalf of Dewey Blaxton. Family and friends may contact Mr. Blaxton’s niece, Frances Smith at 478-396-4631.
