Mr. J. Charles Coleman, age 55, of Vidalia, died Friday, December 11, 2020 at Serenity Hospice of Dublin after an extended illness. He was a native of Montgomery County living in Vidalia for the past 15 years. He was a Plant Manager and OSHA Compliance Officer for the Nordson Corporation. Charles was a graduate of the University of Phoenix and obtained his certifications from Georgia Tech. Charles received numerous safety, production and community service awards from Nordson. He was a founding member and lifelong board member and treasurer of Abundant Life Apostolic Church of Vidalia for over 20 years.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents, J.C. and Libby Coleman.
Charles is survived by his wife, Janeth Coleman of Vidalia; one son, J. Cameron Coleman of Vidalia; one daughter, Kierston Coleman of Vidalia; and one brother, Steven Coleman of Lyons.
Funeral Services for Mr. J. Charles Coleman will be held Tuesday, December 15, 2020 at 1:00 pm at Abundant Life Apostolic Church of Vidalia with Reverend John Young Jr. and Reverend John Young Sr. officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Vernon Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends for visitation at the funeral home Monday evening, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
