Mrs. Kathy Morris, age 58, of Glenwood died Sunday evening, September 6, 2020 at the Augusta University Hospital in Augusta after an extended illness. She was a native of Telfair County having lived most of her life in Wheeler County. Kathy was a medical transcriptionist for Oconee Regional Hospital and was a member of Stuckey Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by her parents, W.J. “Dub” and Joyce Hall, and one brother Roy Lee “Bill” Hall.
Kathy is survived by her loving husband, David H. Morris of Glenwood; one son, Joseph “Kelly” Morris of Glenwood; one brother, William “Theresa” Hall of Valdosta, and one sister, Donna “Jeff” Horton of Glenwood. One granddaughter, Leeanna Morris and one grandson, Cameron Morris both of Hazlehurst also survive.
Graveside services for Mrs. Kathy Morris are scheduled for Wednesday September 9, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Stuckey Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev B.L. Horne & Rev Glenn Waters will be officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday night September 8, 2020 in the Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood chapel from 6PM to 8PM.

I am so sorry to hear this! I worked with Kathy and Donna at Dr. Still’s office in the late 90s. Your family are in my prayers!

David, we are saddened by your loss and pray God's blessings upon you and family. Kathy was a good woman and I enjoyed talking with her at the last reunion. I am so saddened by this and lost for words. I am so thankful for the time me and the children were given to spend with her. We give our deepest condolences to the family and friends. We will forever hold you in our heart. You are in a good resting place. God forever keep you in peace.

I was very sorry to hear of Aunt Kathy's passing. She was always so sweet and kind, and would always talk with me at any family reunions or other times we'd see each other. Sending my condolences to Uncle David, Joseph, and all her family. She will be greatly missed.
