Mr. Donald H. Cape age 79, of Eatonton, Georgia died Sunday morning, September 6, 2020 at the Veterans Hospital in Decatur after a brief illness. Donald was a native of Eatonton and was retired from the Air Force and the Dept of Corrections. He resided in Vidalia for 3 years and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Tarrytown.
He is preceded in death by his wife, Jacquelyn Cape in 2017; a grandson in 2014, and 5 brothers and 2 sisters.
Donald is survived by two daughters, Bonita “Terry” Shepherd of Rockledge and Tammy “Billy” Folsom of Vidalia; 5 grandchildren and 15 great grandchildren also survive.
No services For Mr. Donald H. Cape are scheduled at this time.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

Donnie was a member of Rising Star #4 Masonic Lodge. He attended lodge meetings as his work allowed. He will be missed.

Bonita, It was a pleasure taking care of your father. He made me feel special and appreciated what I did for him. He will be missed. I will treasure the crosses that he gave me. I have 2 hanging on my back door with others from special people. May the God of all comfort and peace be with you and your family at this time.
