Mrs. Geraldine Johnson, age 88, of Lyons, died Sunday March 8, 2020 at The Oaks at Bethany Nursing Home. Geraldine was a native and a life-long resident of Toombs County. Geraldine was a homemaker and Baptist by faith.
Geraldine is preceded in death by her husband Butch Johnson in 2013 and one daughter Virginia Mitchum.
Geraldine is survived by two sons Jimmy “Ann” Cook, of Lyons and Tommy Taylor, of Augusta; one daughter Johnnie “Bobby” Johnson, Of Greer SC; three sisters Earline Hardiman, of Vidalia. Ethyleen Westberry, of Vidalia and Christine Sikes, of Lyons; eight grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Geraldine Johnson will be held Wednesday March 11, 2020 at 2:00 pm in the Vidalia Chapel of Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service. Reverend Blake Hardiman will be officiating.
Interment will be at Walker Cemetery in Alston Georgia.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday March 11, 2020 starting at 1:00pm until hour of service in the Vidalia chapel of Ronnie L Stewart Funeral Service.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of arrangements.

To all the family,
My love and prayers to each of you on the loss of your precious Geraldine. She was a wonderful and loving cousin. I remember all the good times we shared, especially in my younger days. May God Bless you all and give you peace in your hearts.

Jimmy and Ann, I sure did love Ms Geraldine. She would come up and give me a hug and say I love you. She always liked her tops tucked in. Ms Annie Sharpe, my mama, and Ms Geraldine was in the Rose Garden together. She will be missed. Sweet and precious lady. Love you guys
