Mrs. Daisy Nell Harville Reeves Pitts, age 97, of Glenwood died Wednesday December 19, 2018 at Fairview Park Hospital of Dublin surrounded by loved ones.
Mrs. Nell was a native of Wheeler County who moved to Atlanta after graduating High School in 1939. She lived in Atlanta for many years while working as Budget Analyst for 3rd Army at Ft. McPherson. After retirement she moved to Arkansas and returned home to Wheeler County in 1976. She was the oldest living member of Snow Hill Baptist Church.
Mrs. Nell is preceded in death by two husbands, Lester Cebern Reeves and Glenn Pitts; five sisters and three brothers.
She is survived by her daughter, Terry Wolf of Glenwood; her brother, Jay Harville of Bellgrade Fl.; two granddaughters, Shannon Starling of Savannah and Morgan Hollis of Marietta; four great -grandchildren; and three great-great-grandsons.
Memorial Services for Mrs. Daily Nell Harville Reeves Pitts will be held Saturday January 5, 2019 at Snow Hill Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Randall Tarpley officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the hour of the service.
