Mrs. Lynette Couey Adams, age 85, of Glenwood died Monday evening November 12, 2018 at Serenity Place of Dublin after an extended illness. Lynette was a native and lifelong resident of Wheeler County, and retired from Oxford Industries. She was a member of Stuckey Baptist Church.
Lynette was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Adams (2009).
Lynette is survived by one son, Fred Adams (Mary) of Greensboro; four daughters, Nita Dasher of Marietta, Patty Clark (George) of Dublin, Peggy Cartwright of Glenwood, Ellen Hall (Gavin) of Norcross; and one sister, Rosalyn Clark of Pooler. Eight grandchildren and several great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Lynette Couey Adams will be held Thursday November 15, 2018 at Stuckey Baptist Church at 11:00 AM with Reverend Randall Gibbs officiating. Interment will follow at Stuckey Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Thursday morning at the church from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM.
