Mrs. Willene Humphrey Wesberry, age 73, of Uvalda died Friday evening, Septmeber 23, 2016 in Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a brief illness.
Willene was a native of Metter, Ga. and had lived in Uvalda for the past 7 years. She was a homemaker and Baptist by Faith.
Willene is survived by one daughter, Shawn Powell and her husband Michael of Uvalda; one son, Tony Phillips and his wife Tina of Vidalia; three sisters, Shirley Champion of Florahome, FL, Eloise Sisson of Cobbtown and Ann Strickland of Faulkville; and one brother, Frankie Humphrey of Lyons. Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren also survive.
A Private memorial service will be held at a later date.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
