Mrs. Bonnie Coleman, age 81, of the South Thompson Community
died Saturday, January 23, 2016 at St. Joseph’s Hospital of Savannah after a sudden illness.
Mrs. Coleman was a native of Mississippi and had lived in the South Thompson Community for the past 20 years. She was a homemaker and a member of South Thompson Baptist Church.
Mrs. Coleman is preceded in death by her husband Miller Coleman in 2012; her son Jeffrey Coleman in 2007; and her granddaughter Heather Gray in 1991.
Bonnie is survived by her son, Steve Gray and wife Deborah of Glen Rose Texas; her daughter, Nancy Weekley and husband Travis of the South Thompson Community; two brothers, Glen Stroud of Jackson, MS and Darence Stroud and wife Tommie of Jackson, MS; and two sisters, Earlene Walters and husband Carlton of Louin, MS and Elizabeth Shelton and husband Tom of Raymond, MS. Eight grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Bonnie Coleman will be held Thursday, January 28, 2016 at 2:00 PM at Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service Vidalia Chapel with Reverend B.L. Horne officiating. Interment will follow at South Thompson Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.
