Mrs. Vivian Stone Babb, age 92, of Glenwood died Friday afternoon August 29, 2014 at Meadows Regional Medical Center of Vidalia after a brief illness.
Mrs. Babb was a native of Glenwood; resided in Odom and Warner Robins, and returned to Glenwood in 1991. She was a retired school teacher, member of both the Glenwood Garden Club and Glenwood United Methodist Church.
Vivian is preceded in death by her husband, Robert L. Babb in 1991 and her son-in-law Danny Adams in March of this year.
She is survived by her daughter, Deborah Adams of Waynesville, NC; her sister, Mary Elizabeth Simpson of Glenwood; two grandchildren, Amanda Taylor and husband Joey, and Brandon Adams; three great-grandchildren, Dakota, Noah and Annabell Taylor; her niece, Marybeth Simpson; and cousins, Jack, Betty and Vince Clark.
Graveside Memorial Services will be held Monday September 1, 2014 at 3:00 PM at Glenwood City Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Asbell officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be offered to Glenwood United Methodist Church.
Stewart-Rosier Funeral Service of Glenwood is in charge of funeral arrangements.
