Mrs. Ila Maude Rountree Farmer, age 89, of 210 North Victory Drive, Lyons died Wednesday night, September 18, 2013 at Community Hospice of Vidalia after a brief illness.  

Mrs. Farmer was a native of Wheeler County and lived most of her life in Lyons. She was a retired assembly line inspector at the old Federal Pacific and was a member of Lyons First Baptist Church.

Mrs. Farmer is survived by her husband, Otis Farmer Jr. of Lyons. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Ila Maude Rountree Farmer will be held Saturday, September 21, 2013 at 1:00 PM at Lyons First Baptist Church with Reverend Danny Williams officiating.  Interment will follow in the Lyons City Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday, September 20, 2013 from 6PM to 8PM at the funeral home.
