Mr. William H. “Billy” Heath, age 79, of 3 Murray St. Lumber City died Tuesday evening September 10, 2013 at his residence after an extended illness.
Mr. Heath had resided in Lumber City for most of his life, he was a retired commercial truck driver and he was Methodist by Faith.
Mr. Heath is survived by his wife, Jewell Heath of Lumber City; two sons, Steve Heath and wife Rhonda of Lumber City and Charles Heath and wife Diane of Lumber City; one daughter, Debbie Thigpen of Lumber City; four grandchildren, Angie Dean and husband Jim of Lumber City, Peggy Nail of Hazlehurst, Danny Cravey and wife Tonia of Ocala Fl., and Johnathon Cravey and wife Shala of Hazlehurst. Eight great-grandchildren also survive.
Funeral Services for Mr. William H. “Billy” Heath will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013 at 3:00 PM from Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel with Reverend Perry Hearn officiating. Interment will follow at Shiloh Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the Funeral Home beginning from 2:00 PM until the hour of the service.
Ronnie L. Stewart Funeral Service Glenwood Chapel is in charge of funeral arrangements.
